Verily, those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad s.a.w)), and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Gracious (Allah) will bestow love for them* (in the hearts of the believers).[19:96]
*Narrated Abu Hurairah r.a: The Prophet s.a.w. said, "If Allah loves a person, He calls Jibrail saying: Allah loves so-and-so; O Jibrail, love him. Jibrail would love him and then Jibrail would make an announcement among the residents of the heavens, 'Allah loves so-and-so, therefore you should love him also'. So all the residents of the heavens would love him and then he is granted the pleasure of the people of the earth." [Sahih Al-Bukhari]

Moga orang lain dapat juga merasa bahawa Allah sayangkan manusia walaupun manusia sering ingkar dan tidak bersyukur atas nikmat yang Allah kurniakan. Walaupun azab dan siksaan Allah berat di akhirat kelak, bukan bermakna Allah tak sayang manusia. Azab yang berat sebagai peringatan kepada manusia untuk meningkatkan amal ibadah. Wallahuallam..
